PET imaging

Positron emission tomography, or PET imaging, is a nuclear medicine imaging technique that produces a three-dimensional image or picture of functional processes in the body. In modern scanners, this reconstruction is often accomplished with the aid of a CT X-ray scan performed on the patient during the same session, in the same machine.

Memorial Hospital utilizes PET imaging to produce three-dimensional images of the functional processes of the body. memorial hospital, radiology, pet imaging, positron emission tomography, tomography, nuclear imaging
