Joe Leiteritz Recognized as
Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP)
by the American Hospital Association
(Belleville, Illinois) Joe Leiteritz, director of environmental services at Memorial Hospital has earned the designation of Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professionals (CHESP) by the American Hospital Association (AHA). The CHESP is a national credential that distinguishes an individual as being among the elite in a critical field of healthcare environmental services.
To earn the CHESP designation, and individual must satisfy eligibility requirements that incorporate a blend of work experience and education, agree to adhere to Professional Standards of Conduct and pass the CHESP examination. The testing is focused on regulatory compliance, design and construction, operations related to environmental sanitation, waste and textile management, finance and administration. Leiteritz has been employed at Memorial Hospital since 2009. He resides Swansea.
