Cardiac Rehabilitation Program

Working to slow the progression of heart disease

Memorial’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Program is a physician-supervised program staffed with registered nurses and an exercise physiologist who specialize in cardiac rehab.

The goal is to stabilize, slow, or reverse the progression of cardiovascular disease with education, proper diet, and regular exercise. Specially trained staff help cardiac patients improve their mental, social, and physical health and wellness after diagnosis of cardiovascular disease, post-cardiovascular surgery, or percutaneous intervention (heart bypass, heart transplant, heart valve repair or replacement, left ventricular assist device, thrombectomy, unstable angina, angioplasty, or stent).
