In 2009, we expanded and renovated the Emergency Department to better serve patients. It now boasts the latest technology, 28% more space, and 34 private treatment rooms. We even offer bedside registration when you need it for more privacy.
Accreditations and designations
The Emergency Department is also an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI by the Society of Chest Pain Center. Plus, we’re the Southwestern Illinois Emergency Medical Service (EMS) Resource Hospital and the Regional Hospital Coordination Center; in the event of a disaster, area EMS departments will count on Memorial to help out. |
