In-patient hours
The laboratory is open 24 hours daily, except for the Department of Surgical Pathology.
Outpatient hours
Typically outpatient services are provided between the hours of 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. daily, seven days per week. However, if outpatients present at other times, staff will be pulled to accommodate the patient. If the Outpatient Registration Department is closed, patients are registered in the Admitting Department.
Pre-admission testing
Pre-admission testing is routinely drawn in the Admission Center. Contact them at (618) 257-5460 for appointments and hours of operation.
Emergency patients
Laboratory services are available to Emergency Department patients 24 hours daily.
Surgical Pathology hours
Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
